Hello! Our names are Mitko and Sarah. We currently live in Cincinnati, but we are almost always on the move! Since we both work online, we are completely location independent. This makes us perfect candidates for house sitting! We are very flexible with timing since our jobs allow us to travel where we please.
Mitko was originally born and raised in Varna, Bulgaria. He and his parents won the green card lottery back in 2004, and came to the States! He is currently working as a project manager for a small, remote marketing agency. He loves to read and listen to podcasts.
I (Sarah) was originally born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. I went to college at Miami University, graduating in 2016 with a B.S. in Sport Management and a B.A. in Media Studies! I currently work as a digital marketing specialist for a photographer, and a marketing assistant for a business coach! I love dogs with my whole heart, and I also enjoy reading!
Overall, we're a quiet couple that enjoys dogs, traveling, and food! We would love the opportunity to help others out with their houses and pets while traveling to fun new locations!
Why we want to house sit
We have absolutely loved our house sitting experience so far. One of our favorite parts is being able to live in a different location - whether that be a new city or a new country! We both work online, which makes it easy for us to stay home and keep things in order OR give love to pets that are missing their owners! : )
Our experience
We actually have a good deal of house and dog sitting experience! We have both been on Rover.com for a couple years, and we absolutely love it! However Rover is typically limited to the Cincinnati area (where we're from) and we are looking to expand our radius!
One of our favorite dog and house sitting clients has SIX dogs (4 vizslas, one weimaraner, and one english pointer)! We have been working with them for a total of two years, and we typically stay there between 4-24 days.
On Rover, we have had about 10 other clients in total. We love it!!
Our experience includes:
Dogs: walking, feeding, basic medication, bathroom breaks, bathroom accident clean ups, & more!
Cats: feeding, basic medication, accident clean ups, litter box cleaning, & more!
Other animals: basic feeding & medication
Other experience: house upkeep, gathering and organizing mail, plant watering, etc.
