Why we want to house sit
We have a pet that needs a trustworthy caregiver and we would like to do the same in return.
Our experience
We own our home. We currently have 1 cat. Lily is a short haired "tuxedo" and is 13 years old. We have also had a dog and small caged pets, such as rats, hamsters, a rabbit and a hedghog in the past, when the kids were still living at home. Growing up, I lived on a small farm where we had a few farm animals, 2 dogs and many cats.
We currently do some checking on and feeding of friend's cats that are vacationing. A few years ago, we had the experience of keeping 9 indoor cats of varying temperaments in our home for about a week.Several of these cats did not get along, so we had to, periodically throughout the day, carefully choreograph rotating them from one room to another to avoid altercations!

I have known Janeen Schreiber for almost 20 years. In all of that time I have found her to be caring, attentive, organized, knowledgeable and trustworthy. She sews beautifully, she can perform household repairs and she is very experienced at light construction work. Over the years we have both shared our love of animals and we particularly enjoy telling one another stories about our various household pets. I can think of no better person to house sit/pet sit than my friend, Janeen. There could be no one more qualified for the job.
