About Robert & Beth
We are Bob (55) and Beth (53), a USA couple who have been married for 24 years. We both have advanced university degrees with successful careers and really enjoy learning about new locations and cultures.
We are active, completing a 3,500 mile (5,600kms) bike trip across the southern continental United States in 2012.

We are Bob (55) and Beth (53), a USA couple who have been married for 24 years. We both have advanced university degrees with successful careers and really enjoy learning about new locations and cultures.
We are active, completing a 3,500 mile (5,600kms) bike trip across the southern continental United States in 2012.
We are non-smokers, fitness enthusiasts and enjoy active work, inside and outside the home, including playing with pets. We have grown up with/or cared for dogs, cats, fish, chickens and hermit crabs!
Why we want to house sit
House sitting would allow us to:
-meet people from around the world;
-gain local-level understanding of different communities;
-care for and bond with family pets;
-explore nature in various settings;
-provide a superior service to a homeowner; and
-learn new languages, try new foods, and learn more about other cultures.
Our experience
Designated as Super Sitters by TrustedHousesitters, We have house sat 47 times in 12 different countries with cats, dogs, chickens, fish, a turtle and a lizard.
Bob has served as a secretary for the neighborhood association and the homeowners' association.
We have owned and maintained our own home for 23 years.
Our professional careers required strong communication, project management, organization, problem-solving and customer service skills.
Our current careers allow us flexibility time-wise and require little except for a good internet connection.
We will bring a strong work ethic, a high desire to please and the utmost respect for your property and love for your pets. We are dependable, trust-worthy, clean and conscientious.
We are well-traveled and adjust quickly to new environments. In addition to English, Beth has intermediate Spanish skills and Bob knows a little French. We would love to fine-tune our skills in these languages and learn others.

I was so nervous to start this site but after skyping and meeting this amazing couple, I was so thrilled to have taken the step and left my dog and cat with them in my home for 10 days. Thank you both. My animals and home were left in better condition then ever. You were kind and friendly and truly an animal lover who respected everything I own. You are more then welcome to return to our home, it was a pleasure.

Bob and Beth are a delightful couple, who were truly outstanding house-sitters. They communicated regularly with us, cared for our two large dogs, and left our home in perfect condition. We whole-heartedly recommend them and would welcome them back into our home at any time!

Bob and Beth house sat for us during a 2 week vacation. We could not have been happier with them as house and pet sitters! They communicated extremely well and took excellent care of our home and pets. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
