We are semi-retired and love to travel! We always prefer to stay in a local residence, whether we are house sitting or traveling on our own. We are semi-retired and love to travel! We always prefer to stay in a local residence, whether we are house sitting or traveling on our own. We have lived and worked in many parts of the world, are extremely clean and respectful, and love all animals. We are flexible and can travel on our own to most anywhere! We love hiking, water sports, swimming, seeing new things, eating different foods and experiencing new cultures and places.
Why we want to house sit
As stated above, we love to house sit because we love to travel, and we love to experience life in different places as locals, having a local experience. We are semi-retired and can work from anywhere, have great flexibility with our schedule, and love animals of all kinds.
Our experience
We house sit for people in Hawaii and Texas regularly, and have experience managing repairs, doggie rehab from surgery, kitty medications - you name it! We love animals and care for them just as you would, and we will care for your home exactly as you want. We have 10+ years of pet caring experience and feel that no home is complete without at least one furry friend!

Richard and Margaret are two of the loveliest human beings we have met in a long time. We left three Sheltie dogs in their care and returned to find our dogs so well looked after. Richard and Margaret are two of the loveliest human beings we have met in a long time. We left three Sheltie dogs in their care and returned to find our dogs so well looked after. It was as if we never left. Our dogs were not even phased. The love and care they received was above 5 stars. If you are familiar with Shelties you know that they do not handle separation from their owners well and their behaviour is obvious when you return. But our dogs were so connected to Richard and Margaret it was as if we didn’t leave them. Our home looked like we never left as well. Everything was so in order and what a relief after such a long road trip. Thank you so much Margaret and Richard. You will definitely be missed by the pups and listed as a favourite for future sits. Keep in touch it would be lovely to see you both again.

I have known Richard and Margaret Moody for about 7 years. I have been their landlord for about 2 years and in that time, I have seen nothing but excellence as tenants. They are communicative, incredibly responsible, and superior tenants. They have consistently taken care of the space, paid rent on time, and have gone above and beyond to work collaboratively to share the property. I would highly recommend them without hesitation for house and pet care services!
