I am a responsible and caring woman who loves to travel to new places and experience different cultures. I worked with animals as a veterinary technician and dog trainer for ten years before I returned to school to become an RN. I have cared for other's homes and animals many times in the past. I am also a member of Workaway, and I have provided various services in trade for work over the last few years. I have always been met with great appreciation and respect for the work I have provided.
Why I want to house sit
I enjoy house sitting because it affords me the opportunity to travel, and have new experiences. I love animals, and I consider myself to be gifted in understanding and caring for them. I have many years of experience working and playing with animals of all shapes and sizes. I love sunny locations best, and I therefore look for warm climates when I travel. I am currently working on the beginning stages of a location independent business plan, marrying my talents as a nurse with my interests in integrative health and wellness. Housesitting would allow me the time to focus on my entrepreneurial spirit while exploring new parts of the world.

For years prior to becoming a nurse, Julie was a Veterinary Assistant. Now she volunteers some of her free time at the Second Chance Animal Shelter by spending time with dogs and walking them.

Julie took care of my mountain ranch in Colorado. It's not a working ranch, but there are dogs and house plants and it is in a remote location. The dogs were happy and well exercised, and the house plants were in better shape than I left them in 6 weeks time... (I am a horrible killer of house plants). The house and the property were clean and tidy. Julie was respectful at all times and I will use her services again if she is available. I highly recommend her.
