About Suzanna and dale & Dale
We are a professional couple in our 50's and we love to travel! Dale spent over 20 years in the U.S. Navy and loved seeing the world. He rode his bicycle all over the Mediterranean. We are a professional couple in our 50's and we love to travel! Dale spent over 20 years in the U.S. Navy and loved seeing the world. He rode his bicycle all over the Mediterranean. We spent 6 years living in Spain and Italy and traveled extensively with our 4 children. Suzanna was an army brat and spent much of her youth living in Germany and traveling around Europe. Our four children are grown now but we are lucky enough to have our youngest one living at home so we have a built in pet sitter for the moment! We have two lovely dogs, a standard poodle, Juno, and a mini schnauzer, Henry. We love traveling in Europe but are open to all destinations.
Why we want to house sit
We enjoy traveling but prefer to stay in one spot and get to know the local area and the locals! We always prefer to stay in a home or apartment so we really get a feel for the place and a chance to live like the locals. We love pets and miss ours greatly when traveling. Having no cost accomodations will allow us to travel much more than our current 1 or 2 months a year. We are open to the possibility of a working vacation. In addition to caring for your pets, we can offer our services with home organization, redesign, and minor repairs.
Our experience
We are home owners ourselves and have lots of experience with home maintenance. We have our own business, Confusion to Order, providing home organizing and handyman services. Our business is all about caring for homes! We specialize in home makeovers, home staging, room redesign, and assisting our clients with relocation. We also maintain vacation homes as part of our business, so have lots of experience dealing with any issues that may arise. What else can I say about Suzanna and Dale except what an absolute joy they were to be around. It is having guests like them that make our lives as Airbnb hosts so enjoyable. We loved hosting them at our apartment in Barcelona and can't wait for them to come back across the waters for more Spanish adventures. Communications were excellent before, during and after their stay, and they looked after our home as if it were their own. We would host them again without a second's thought and recommend them to all other airbnb hosts!

We had a studio apartment that was being underutilized as a work out and craft area. Neither my husband nor I could figure out what to do with the space to make it more functional and attractive so I flew Suzanna to the Bay Area. She went through all my craft supplies (no easy feat), measured and made a list of what was needed and off we went off to IKEA. With her help not only was our apartment transformed, but my closets and junk drawers were too, all in 3 days! Suzanna not only worked tirelessly, but she is a joy to work with.
