Gorgeous dog, lovely garden
Sam and I live in a small cosy three bedroom house in the middle of a leafy garden with lots of native birds. I am retired and bought the house as an ongoing project. Sam is the most delightful little dog. He is a 7 year old Maltese Shih Tzu rescue dog and I have only had him since November 2017. His manners are wonderful and he sleeps all night, he loves cuddling up while reading or watching TV
Our Home & Location
My house is an ongoing project, I paint when I can, plan alterations, dig in the garden and just enjoy the ambience I am creating. The house is on a leafy corner block in Raymond Terrace, a town in a semi-rural area approximately 20-30 minutes from Newcastle, the city beaches, shops and eat streets. The historic river port of Morpeth is also 20 minutes away; and the tourist resort towns of Nelson Bay, Shoal Bay and Anna Bay are roughly 50 minutes away. Newcastle airport is 15 minutes from my house.
Responsibilities & Pets
Sam is a very easy care doggo. He doesn't seem too fussed on two meals a day, so he usually gets a beef jerky strip after his first morning trip outside, and also half a teeth chew. Dinner is a combination of fresh and other bits which I will prepare before I leave. As he is a rescue dog food has been a bit of trial and error. He loves his afternoon walk and I'm sure he has an inbuilt clock which tells him when its 4pm, dinner is after this walk at 5.
Garden is also fairly low maintenance, and only requires a light water every second day (preferably with a glass of red wine in one hand and the hose in the other.
