Pet Sit 7km from Brisbane CBD
We are a young family, me (Mike), wife (Kelly) and two kids, Jackson (7) and Indi (4), and of course the two dogs. I am a Director of a small law firm, and my wife is a stay at home mum.
We have just used trusted house sitters for the first time during a 9 day holiday to NZ and it was fantastic....
We are off for a short 2 night break on 1 September and are keen to have a sitter again, instead of using a kennel.
We will leave one of our cars at the house, a 2017 Hyundai Tuscan, which we are happy to be used if required. + More info
Our Home & Location
Our house is located in the small leafy suburb of Seven Hills, a pocket between Norman Park, Camp Hill, and Morningside. Our house is a lovely 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom two story house with a large guest bedroom, bathroom and toilet down stairs. We have very fast cable wifi, foxtel, and netflix.
We have a couple of great cafe's and restaurants in walking distance, and public transport to the CBD is very accessible....
A great feature in the neighborhood is the Seven Hills Bushland Reserve. This is a fantastic bush reserve full of nature trails which our Golden Retriever loves to walk and it is less than 5 minutes walk away. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
Our two dogs are relatively low maintenance, but are both very different. Koda, the nearly two year old Golden Retriever, is an outside dog. He spends most of his day laying about his kennel on the downstairs deck. He loves his daily walk, and particularly enjoys a longer romp in the Bushland. He is a typical boisterous Golden, gentle as anything with all people and dogs, but needs a strong handler for the first few hundred meters of his walks as he can get a little enthusiastic!
Marlie is our old Pomeranian. She spends most of her time on our bed or couch. She also enjoys a walk, but usually just around the block as her little old legs get tired quickly! She stays inside all day and really only goes outside for to do her business....
Both dogs are healthy and not in need of any special care. They are fed a raw food diet which we buy from a local supplier is pre-made meals. They both have a meal in the morning which are pre-made to their size, and Koda also has a turkey neck and sardine in the evening. + More info
