Sunshine Coast House 7 minutes from the Beach and 2 cuddly dogs
Hi! We're Shayne and Amber. We love our home on the Sunshine Coast and we share it with our 2 lovable dogs, Zappa and Elsa. We love to cook (Shayne is a Chef) and we love to take the dogs for a walk on teh beach. There's so much to do on the Sunshine Coast, so many cafes and walks! There's some bus services in the area but a car is needed to get around better. We hope we might welcome you to our home one day.
Our Home & Location
Our home has 4 bedrooms (two of which have beds) and 2 bathrooms. The area is a very peaceful quiet area and not suitable for parties. We have a large fully-fenced garden and BBQ and secured car garage. We're working on our small little vegetable garden and love our indoor plants. The whole house is a single level. We have WIFI, fans. Open plan kitchen, lounge and dining room.
Responsibilities & Pets
The house is very easy to look after, you just need to tidy up after yourself. Bins are collected on a Tuesday morning. We mainly need someone to look after our dogs. We have 2 x Bull Arabs who would cuddle you all day if they could! They're comfortable living outside by themselves but do get very needy if they're spending too much time outside alone.
Responsibilities as follows:
- Morning feed (food supplied)
- Evening feed (food supplied)
- Fresh water daily
- Pick up after the dogs in the garden
- Daily walks
They can sleep inside or outside (just not on sofa). They love the off-leash dog beach and dog park. They travel well in the car and very social with other dogs. If they come inside they'll just nap all day but can't be left inside by themselves. They don't really bark much at all but will have a funny grumbly chat if they're excited.
Bull Arabs like to play rough with other but if ever you feel a little uncomfortable with how they play just say they're names firmly and they'll stop. They're very reactive to your commands and are great at sitting, lying down, staying on their bed, waiting to eat or "go away" if they're getting a bit much with the cuddles. They are rescue dogs so hitting them is no good for them, they'll react better with firm & clear verbal commands.
You're welcome to bring your own dog but they do need to be able to put up playing with 2 large active dogs.
We ask that you give our plants a little water if they look dry :) + More info
