Hello, we are a family of four , Kent , Natasha, Monet 15, Ciara 12. Heading to Europe for five weeks. Leaving our two Dachshunds and three chickens , although they do want to come. Employed as the regional emergency service inspector , Currently managing North Burnett region , enjoying the cheap oranges and lemons , picking has started with the town full of backpackers for seasonal work. Natasha is a home manager , girls are in school. The house is a 1920 style timber Queenslander, was the railway station masters house . The house sits directly across from the now disused railway station, now a tourist attraction. Fully air conditioned, the outlook is pleasant with mountain views and breezes from the front verandah , large block , veggie patch. The house is close to original condition, takes you back a few years. We like it that way. The dogs ,,slinky male and bonnie female are great mates , slinky is the boss , bonnie is the watchdog. Both great company for us. Gayndah is a pleasant and friendly town , with the Burnett river running through it , fishing is apparently ok too. Please contact for further information , as I have probably forgotten something. Kind regards Kent and Natasha
Our Home & Location
Mostly covered above but , Gayndah is surrounded by fruit orchards and cattle farms. It has a couple of old pubs , meals are OK in the Grand Hotel. The house is on the north side of the river 3 mins to shops. Our neighbors are quieter than we are I think?.. Very quiet, vacant land behind , large abandoned peanut factory next door. The odd grey nomad in the caravan park across the road , far enough for no disturbance. Hope this helps.
Responsibilities & Pets
Please feed the dogs , chickens , water veggies and verandah plants . Dogs will keep you company.
