Gold Coast Menagerie
This will be the second time we have had a trusted house sitter. Being situated on the Gold Coast you would have access to a variety of attractions. The hinterland and beaches are only a short trip away. Our fur babies are part of our family and we don't want them to go without love and attention while we are away.
Our Home & Location
Our home is situated at the end of the street so no noisy traffic. The house is single story with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is a family room, office/guinea pig room, laundry and enclosed outdoor area where the birds are housed within. The outdoor living area at the front of the house is very comfortable.
We are located close to the theme parks. Movieworld, Paradise country and Wet n Wild are only 10 - 15 minutes away by car or you can catch a connection bus from Helensvale Station. There is a bus stop less than 5 minutes walk from the house. The bus goes to Helensvale Station where you can catch the train north to Brisbane or South to connecting buses or Robina Shopping centre....
You can also catch the Glink tram at Helensvale station and head to the Broadwater , beaches, Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach. You don’t have to tackle the traffic and parking if you catch the G.
There is a pizza shop at the end of our street. They have a variety other food on the menu too. It’s our favourite pizza. A supermarket is about 1.5 kilometres away or there is Westfield Shopping Centre near Helensvale Station.
We are open to you arriving one or two days prior if required. We leave on the 18th September and will use our vehicle to get to the airport and back.
There is bushland beside us as part of the green zone for Paradise Country so widelife is abundant. We often have wallabies and kangaroos feeding along our fence line.
In the backyard we grow passionfruit, bananas, mulberries, papaya, limes, lemons, herbs and a few veggies. I have a frangipani collection too. + More info
