Reliable sitter to look after 2 odd-couple indoor cats, city apartment.
Hi! We are a young couple that frequently travel overseas and interstate - requiring minders for our little fur babies for different periods! We have two female cats with polar opposite personalities. Our older cat, Mittens is a timid tabby and sometimes unapproachable/unfriendly cat that prefers to keep to herself around strangers! She doesn't require a lot of work, you probably won't see much of her at all! Our other cat - Leia, is the exact opposite. She is an extraverted bengal that is a bundle of energy. She loves running around the house and climbing anything in sight. She is very sweet and has been known to sleep in the bed of previous sitters. She will be constantly interested in what you are doing and interested in playing!
Despite their interesting personalities, our cats are relatively low maintenance. They need to be fed twice daily, litter changed and some occasional play.. In exchange, you can stay in at our cosy, clean 2 bedroom apartment in the City centre. Modern kitchen, unlimited NBN and air con in every room. Includes access to inground pool, bbq and tennis court. Safe gated complex with parking available. Walking distance from cafes, shops and more (flinders st, Palmer st). We keep our house very clean and tidy - we would only ask you leave it the way you find it when we return.
Our Home & Location
We live in the centre of townsville city - walking distance to Palmer St and Flinders St - includes lots of great cafes, bars and resturants. We will happily recommend some of our favourites. In addition, there are some great attractions within walking distance including: Reef HQ, Tropical Museum of North Qld and the Perc Tucker Gallery. We live in a safe, gated complex that includes access to a tennis court, inground pool and bbq areas. The famous Strand and North Ward is approx. 5 minute drive away or approx. 15 min walk. The apartment is modern, with unlimited wifi, balcony, netflix (through xbox connected to tv) and Fetch TV in the bedroom.
Responsibilities & Pets
Changing cat litter, a little bit of play and feeding twice a day.
