Charming Cottage on the edge of The Barossa Valley
I work full time as an assistant principal. In my spare time, I hold house concerts in the back yard at home. It gets busy and is tiring. If I have to go out at night, I won't ever leave my dogs alone. Duncan comes with me every day and the 'seniors' have a dog walker to keep them happy during the week. The dogs are my life.
Our Home & Location
My house was built circa 1895. It has wooden floors almost all the way through. It has an extension on the back and a great deck area. The deck has electricity and I live out there most of the year. There is a pool and a jungle garden down the back. The back yard is very leafy. There is a converted shed at the bottom, called The Shack @ the Back. Closest town is Gawler and a direct train runs to Adelaide City from Coles - not far up the road.
Responsibilities & Pets
All dogs are easy to care for. Harley sometimes has medication but not a lot. Tilly is very shy. They know where they eat and will show you. They never ever fight over food or anything else. Duncan is a door rusher, so it is important to keep doors to the front to locked. He opens them. They are easy going. You would be asked to feed and water, walk them, squirt the garden and pop on sprinklers - usual sort of things. Im easy, as long ass the dogs are happy, I dont mind about anything else.
