Beautiful country home with gorgeous pets
WE are a family of 3: Noella is the mum, a teacher at TAFE and active triathlete - that's why we are away and need a sitter - we are going to the world champion ships in Spain. Noah is 21 and his brother Jai,19, they both work in Landscaping. We are a very active family, we love mountain bike riding, swimming and camping. We love our home and pets, they are a real part of our family.
Our Home & Location
Our 3 bedroom house is on a very quite road, 20 minutes from Hobart, surrounded by farmland , with a great view of the mountain. Public transport is ca 15 min from the house and the local shop carries essential supplies. Kingston ( shopping and beaches) is 8 min by car. We have a beautiful and very private garden, vege patch and chook run. The property is fenced, so Bo, the dog is safe. A wrap around veranda is well used and faces north. 2 bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms, our kitchen is modern and open plan. We have wooden floorboards throughout and the house is warm, welcoming and very sunny.
Responsibilities & Pets
Bo is a very active , young dog. He needs a lot of play and walks. What he needs most is reliable company! We are looking for a sitter who LOVES dogs and wants to spend time with him. Bo is very friendly, loves kids, cuddles and play and is a lot of fun to be around. Bo needs to walk both on the lead and off ( great walks just around the area) and activities like throwing the ball and fetching sticks. Bo responds to most commands like sit, come, shake paw etc and loves riddles, like finding treasures under things. We would prefer a sitter who is at home a lot. Bo does travel in the car, but does not love it very much.
Bo likes sleeping in the room with someone, he might even jump on the bed and sleep at the foot of the bed....
Bo gets fed twice a day.
Kasha is very self sufficient. She does not like people very much, but chooses people to hang out with and rewards the lucky chosen with cuddles and purrs. She needs to be fed twice a day, stays in at night and sleeps often on the bed with someone.
Noella often has both in her bed :)
The chickens get fed in the morning. They have a big run and don't need to be let out. Ensure they have water and enjoy their eggs.
The guinea pigs are not very tame, but fun to watch and listen to! They love fresh grass every morning, a carrot to share and a crunchy apple. They have a big run and amuse themselves.
We have a vegetable garden, which might need watering, it's all fenced, so things grow well and are safe from munching wildlife. + More info
