Peaceful home in the Perth foothills
We are a small home educating family (mum and two kids) plus two adorable and affectionate dogs (mum and daughter). Our extended family all live interstate and we like to visit them at least once a year if possible. We also like going on camping adventures around this beautiful state and some locations such as national parks do not allow dogs. I work part time in a local vegetarian/vegan cafe and love to create delicious and nutritious meals, especially treats, which I am slowly building into a business of my own. We love the outdoors and activities including bush walking, rock climbing, swimming, surfing, snorkelling/diving, surfing and hanging out at the skate park.
Our Home & Location
Our home is situated on a quite and friendly street about 300m off the heritage trail which allows for lovely walks through native bushland and only 1.7km to the Boya quarry. The house is an older style 3x1 with open plan living, a bath and a gorgeous large sun room out the front. We have several fruit trees and two large gums that overlook the yard. We have a park and playground in the next street over and a small deli just 5 mins walk. A 2 min drive will get you to a local fruit and veg shop, cafe, chemist, doctors, physio and gift shop. The newly renovated Midland Gate shopping centre is an 8 minute drive.
Responsibilities & Pets
I would require a sitter to feed and walk the dogs at least once daily. However, they would enjoy as many cuddles as you could offer, sometimes more than food ☺. Some plants require occasional watering. Other than that my only other request is that you slow down, relax and enjoy the peacefulness that my home allows.
