Pet sit in a super neighbourhood near South Centre Mall with 2 big personalities for company!
Hello My name is Tricia and I have two well behaved Chihuahuas looking for a house sitter to hang out with while we are away. We love to travel and normally when we go away, friends or family look after the dogs but sometimes that doesn't work out. We haven't really kennelled the dogs except for once on a ranch in Utah while we went hiking and the other time at a person's house while we were in Penticton. Apart from that, the dogs have only ever been looked after by people close to us. Taco might be okay at a kennel, but Chica would definitely be too scared. If you're good with little dogs and would like to spend some time getting to know two cuties, then we would like to meet you.
Our Home & Location
There are many great things about house sitting here - the yard, the proximity to everything you might need, the dog park a few minutes away and the fireplace. South Centre Mall is also really close and the surrounding area has access to some of the cities best restaurants and pubs. . It's close to downtown via the C-Train and about 18 minute drive. There is also free parking and the C-train station is walking distance from the house.
Responsibilities & Pets
House sitters will be responsible for walking the dogs daily and feeding them in the morning and at dinner time. Guests would need to stay the duration of the pet sit and not be gone during the day for more than about 6-7 hours. The backyard is easily accessible by the dogs so it isn't too hard and the dog park is around the corner. In the winter, or if it's raining, you will have to coax the dogs to go out a bit as they aren't that big of a fan of the cold or wet weather. They usually go out about 7-9 am and go to bed about 10-11 pm, and of course in between as well. If you are more of a night owl, you can definitely let them out later and sleep in a bit but it should be somewhere not too far from the above listed hours that you should let them outside.
