3 cats in beautiful Mono, an hour north of Toronto
Hi! We’re an active couple in our late 40’s. We live in beautiful Mono, near Orangeville, Ontario, about an hour north of Toronto. We run our own business in the food packaging industry. We love to travel as often as possible and need someone to look after our beloved 3 cats when we’re away. We’re interested in travel, design, architecture, heritage and culture...and good food and relaxation!
Our Home & Location
Our home is a new 3700sf ranch style house on 25 rolling acres with long south views over the Hockley Valley. The house is very clean and bright. It has 2 large bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen) both with ensuite bathrooms. The main living area is open concept with large windows for lots of light and to take in the views. There are large walk out decks all around the house and a hot tub off the master bedroom. There are no neighbours in sight.
We live in a very pretty, rural area with a great sense of community. There are lots of hiking trails on the property and all around the area. The Bruce Trail (a 890 km trail from Niagara to Tobermory) runs right by our house. The Hockley Valley Resort and Adamo Winery are 5 minutes away, offering golf, downhill skiing, spa and great food. The area is known for its arts and culture scene with lots of outdoor activities, markets and events. You can learn more about the region at www.headwaters.ca. We're a one hour drive to downtown Toronto if there’s no traffic.
Responsibilities & Pets
We have 3 lovely, friendly male cats who love attention (2 orange tabbies and 1 black cat). They are easy keepers, just requiring kibble and water and love. Sadly they are not allowed outside, so pet sitters must be very careful to keep all doors and screens shut at all times.
