House sitting in hobby farm near Ottawa
We live on a hobby farm 30 km away from downtown Ottawa, the dogs are walked on the property (26 acres). It is a very charming and private place, great for those who need to take a break from city while being close to Ottawa, other nice villages to be visited around. There is no public transport so a car is required.
We had previous good experience with reliable, honest and caring house sitters. Our dogs are used to a private, quiet and stable life, therefore are not comfortable with children - mature sitters are welcome.
Our Home & Location
Our renovated farm is very well located in the outskirts of Ottawa. Within a 30-40km range, house sitters have access to Eastern Ontario, St Laurent river down South, the Laurentian (North) and Ottawa. Equally close to the Rideau Canal and the locks, historic villages around.
Responsibilities & Pets
What is expected? Our two shi-tzuhs and husky girls require a 15-20 minutes group walk morning and afternoon, and to be fed around 5pm. As they sleep during the day, house sitters have the options to visit the area. No major duties to be undertaken other than watering the plants around the house and picking up the mail.
