Dog and cat in house in Hellerup (Copenhagen)
We're a family with a sweet and very very people-friendly 13 year old dog plus a young cat. Looking for someone to look after them in our house in Copenhagen while we are away.
We live in Hellerup which is a green and quiet suburb of Copenhagen - easy cycling distance to the centre and good public transport links (buses and S-tog). We will leave you our bikes for you to use....
The dog will snooze most of the day, especially after a good walk, so you can easily leave him for up to 5 or 6 hours while you explore the city (if you want to go out longer, we can speak about arranging a dog walker). He is very friendly and does love attention though so will always be trying his luck for a back rub!
It's a 4 bed house with a lovely garden. Not far from transport and cycling distance to central Copenhagen. Child and pet (obviously) friendly! + More info
Our Home & Location
Lovely 4 bedroom house plus guest bedroom in basement (although we tend to give sitters our rooms since they obviously are lighter and airier than a basement room is) in a green and quiet suburb of Copenhagen (Hellerup),
In our bedroom there is a king-sized bed which we usually give to couples when they stay as it's the biggest bed. In two of the other bedrooms there are twin beds and pull-outs and we'd ususally give one of these rooms to solo sitters. In the fourth bedroom there is a toddler bed. Two of the bedrooms are on the ground floor and two are on the first floo...
One bathroom and toilet plus a guest toilet on the ground floor and another bathroom and toilet in the basement.
15 minute walk from Hellerup or Dyssegard S train station plus many local buses, including to Norreport. You can also use our bikes the best form of transportation in Copenhagen!
Easy access to central Copenhagen
2 km from the beach
Please note we don't have cable TV but have an internet connected TV with Netflix.
Beautiful garden to sit and relax in. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
Dog needs a nice walk once a day and two pee breaks plus attention and TLC when you're home (he's a dog who loves attention). He can be left for 5-6 hours. If you want to go out for more, we can arrange a dog walker on occasion. Now he's older, his recall isn't so great and he needs to be kept on a lead unless somewhere enclosed.
The cat needs to be let out and in. She does have a litter tray which if she uses (if weather is really bad) would need scooping/changing....
Both animals need feeding and watering.
Please also keep the house secure, clean and tidy
If you're here on rubbish collection day, please take bins out.
We have the house cleaned once a week and would kindly ask if you could let the cleaner in on that morning.
If you could poop scoop the garden every few days, much appreciated. + More info
