Flexible dates, car included 2 small dogs in a Danish Countryside Cottage/UNESCO town near German border
I have to travel to the US for treatments and need someone to watch our two dear little dogs and home.
Jack is 12 years old with cataracts and needs an insulin shot twice a day. Elli is sort of his seeing eye dog. They are both happy at home and I don't want to make them travel. They are both sweet, kind, playful dogs used to a lot of love and attention.
Can also leave a little Ford Ka for your use if you have a good driving record....
The situation with my health not being predictable has been difficult, I have arranged for repairs to a door and to replace the cracked toilet seat (that is now taped), and a few other things, but the handymen don't seem to want to come unless I am there and when I have been here, they have all sorts of complications. So, I am working on these things, but sorry the home is not as cozy as usual. A handyman dog/housesitter would be amazing! But not expected.
Most people really enjoy the historic coastal towns, Ribe, Romo, Wadden National Park, and Schackenborg Castle. + More info
Our Home & Location
Tonder and Hojer are darling little Danish towns along the North Sea. Tonder has good shopping, doctors, and businesses. Hojer is entry to the UNESCO world heritage site. Only 40 minutes from Flensburg, Germany with lots of shopping and the Baltic. Only 15 minutes from the German border. 9 minutes from Shackleburg, Palace and dog walking park. 40 minutes from Romo beach, 10 minutes from Hojer beach/dykes. Bicycling is possible, but with a car is best.
Responsibilities & Pets
We would need the housesitter to give Jack an insulin shot twice a day, take Jack and Elli on a 20 minute walk at least once a day, let them to the back yard when they signal, mow the lawn (small yard) once a week, water plants. empty dehumidifiers, gather mail, vacuum once a week, and generally keep the home in the order it is in now.
