There are numerous places of interest to visit within easy travelling distance, including the stunning Vallee des Saints which is five minutes away. The Rose Granite coast is easily reachable, as are the prehistoric monuments at Carnoet, the fortified town of Concarneau, the Arthurian sites and rockfalls at Huelgoat, the St Tropez-like resorts of Camaret and Benodet and the amazing rocky cliff coastline which runs around Finistere, complete with the long distance footpath. As well, there are art galleries, museums, chapels and magic springs scattered throughout the land for you to discover....
Also to discover is the cuisine of Brittany, traditionally made up of wonderful fish and seafood dishes including lobster, oysters, shrimp and all the bounty the waters surrounding the peninsula provide. Also, delicious and healthy buckwheat “crêpes ” are available in hundreds of “crêperies” scattered everywhere you go, served traditionally with cider or “kir royale” - sparking wine with blackcurrant syrup. Of course, French pastries are everywhere, plus Breton specialities such as “kouign annan” or butter cake - because the Bretons make some of the best butter in the world! Don’t miss the caramel au beurre salé- yummy on ice cream!

We are about 10 miles from the nearest towns, Carhaix-Plouguer and Huelgoat, and 1km from the nearest village shops.
