Evie and Peanut.....my girls
We are Barbara and Ian..we came to live in France in 2002 with our youngest 2 children, and our dog, a border/lakeland called Jess, who sadly recently passed away aged 18..we now have Evie a Belgian Shepherd who I have had since she was a couple of days old, along with the rest if her litter, they were successfully reared and found superb homes apart from Evie who is my baby...and now we have Peanut as well, who came from a split home...she is a 3 years old very small black cocker spanial...who is truly too cute for her own good....everyone who meets her, wants her...
Our Home & Location
We are 1 minute by car from our local town of Plouaret which has all you need, from doctors, a pharmacy, 2 supermarkets, 2 boulangeries, the post office and a train station from where you can go straight to Paris....We are 15 minutes from the nearest beaches at St-Michel-en-Grève, and the nearest beautiful historic town of Lannion..on the banks of the Léguer, whose cobbled streets, Thursday market, cafes, shops and historic church of Brélévenez approached by a flight of 140 steps are not to be missed... We have The Côte de Granit Rose so called because of the colour of its rocks, not too far away, it is one of, if not, the most beautiful stretch of Brittanys coastline and boasts a wealth of plantlife and birds...and is a walkers paradise.
Responsibilities & Pets
Evie suffers from seperation anxiety and needs to be in her own home where she is absolutely fine.....She will come and tell you when she needs to go out in the morning...usually about 8 to 8.30am ...Peanut will be on your bed if you let her and won't get up until you do..you don't even need to get dressed..just go into the paddock with the tennis racquet and ball and they will chase that for a while ..do what they have to then in for breakfast...If during the day you want to go walking locally or up to our beautiful coast ...they will be more than happy to come with you...they are good in the car, on and off the lead and are very obedient...If you want to go out shopping or to a bar or restaurant, they are happy to be left in the house for as long as you will be out...within reason..
