Paradise along side a lake
Sid and I moved to France end of 2017.
We have an amazing property along side a huge lake. Lovely quiet location but within 20 minutes of towns with shops etc...
Car is required.
Village does have a small shop for bread and milk etc. Village has a very nice restaurant (closed during the winter, other restaurants available in the large town less then 30 minutes away) and also a pizza takeaway, small bar, post office and hairdressers. + More info

Responsibilities & Pets
The most important thing for us is to keep the animals cuddles, fed and happy. With the house it needs to be kept clean and tidy with having many cats it does need the cat hair hovering every few days. It does have central heating for the winter, also has a large log burner in the upstairs lounge .
We have 6 cats , Panda, Dave, Shadow, Tinkerbell, Fluff and Dolly. All extremely friendly , Dolly is very shy with new people so will most probably stay in stables mostly. Dolly will hopefully get use to people and come for cuddles as she is a long haired cat she does need to be brushed every week, but if this is not possible we understand ....
Cats will need to be fed twice a day and need fresh water daily . They get fed in stables.
House sitters must be happy handling horses of all sizes.
We have two large cobs and a Shetland. , all friendly and live out mostly depending on weather and time of year.
Comby is a large white cob who does sometimes forget his manners, but normally well behaved. He does get a cough when hay is dusty but he does have a gel which he can take daily to help with this .
Belle is a typical Welsh chestnut mare with 4 white socks . She makes faces sometimes but she does love to be groomed but shes best crossed tired in the stable door way.
Scooby is the Shetland and hes a darling and loves being cuddled.
Horse have automatic fresh water bowl in the field and they have a hay feeder in field.
Depending on time of year , will determine if general stable duties will be required. This would involve mucking out and redoing water bowls and hay. They would only need to be in if the weather and the field gets really horrible . They will have an area of hard standing which they can use for a few hours if they cant use the fields.
Our friends are happy to visit to check horses and be a contact if any problems with them. + More info
