3 Dogs in Hamburg
We are seeking a sitter for our home & 3 fantastic dogs. We are a married, American couple in our late 30s working and studying in Hamburg, Germany. Christy is a client relationship manager at an alternative cancer treatment clinic. Jacob is a full-time information engineering student. We are looking for someone that loves dogs and has experience caring for multiple dogs.
Our Home & Location
We live in a modern 65sqm ground level apartment on the edge of Hamburg. Only 30 minutes by public transport (10-15 minute walk or just 5 minutes by bike, then 15 minute U-Bahn ride to Hauptbahnhof Hamburg). The use of our bikes can be arranged if desired.
Quiet area on a family property with the upstairs neighbor's ponies in the field next door....
A very large park just down the street with great walking paths and a lake. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
We have 3 wonderful dogs (our fur babies).
Grits is a rescued great dane/labrador retriever mix. She is an old, lazy yet goofy girl at the age of 12 so doesn't require walks, just potty breaks and cuddles....
Zoe is a spunky 12 year old, one-eyed and nearly blind Boston terrier. She is the queen of the house. Our little diva requires a lap, meal servant and door person. She doesn't require walks due to her back condition, only potty breaks. She does require daily cleaning of her "super hero helmet" (visor to protect her remaining eye).
Axel is our fun boy! He's a 3 year old German short-haired pointer mix. He loves going for walks and outings. He is a great hunter so he must never be off leash. He loves traveling in cars, on buses and trains. He requires a daily walk. He requires an experienced dog handler due to his anxiety. He receives a daily pill (easily given) but needs a strong leader.
They eat twice a day and all poops on potty breaks must be picked up. They can be left in their kennels for up to 8 hours daily but no more than 6 hours continuously. + More info
