Rhea & Toulouse
I am Rhea, a half german half greek musician. As a classical musician I studied in Cologne, Germany and Lyon,France and my way took me to this crazy and wonderful city Athens,Greece where I now work as a member of the Greek National Opera.
Four years ago, Athens was the city I found my cat, Toulouse, an orphan kitten like many others here, and since 2014 we accompany each others lives.
I am traveling quiet a lot, due to my work, my family and friends who live in Cologne, but I always managed it with the help of my friends that where taking care of Toulouse.
Anyhow the main problem in Greece are the general vacations. Almost every one leaves the city for greek eastern in april and the summer holiday in august ( to be honest it will be very hot) and so do I, for this is the only off period for artists at the Opera.
Our Home & Location
My home is a small place with charm which gives space for two persons. Free your mind from a breathtaking, extravagant apartment. It's a modest, tiny,40 m2 flat, with two strange balconies and a strange little door, connecting living room with the bedroom (it could be made for Hobbits). Maybe it's the unusual that charms me and visitors....
The Neighbourhood is safe and beautiful. There is the huge Square of Nea Smyrni ( 5 min walk) with all of its coffees, Bars, Shops, and the Alsos Park ( 10 min walk) to go for running or even see open air theatre or cinema in summer. Bus stations or the Tram to centre or to the beach are 3 to 5 min walk away.
Every Monday there is a Bio-Market and every Wednesday a normal Fruit and Vegetable market....
In my Flat is a washing machine for laundry but no dishwasher. There is internet, a telephone, several cooking things, a fridge and a oven + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
Well, its all about Toulouse. She is happy about having one or two persons around her. People that live with her and share moments with her. This could be playing, cuddling or just sitting together on the balcony enjoying the sun. Its nice to leave her the Window open so that she can go on the balcony, at night for example. Her moral is very dependent on this ;). You can keep her in the beginning one or two days inside, especially when you as sitter do not feel safe with here leaving outside.
I feed her twice a day and once a week I change her toilet....
There is no garden but there are some plants on the balcony. They need care like once a week or less....Nothing to worry about. + More info
