Responsibilities & Pets
house: THIS IS A COTTAGE - WITH SOLID FUEL STOVE AS A ONLY FORM OF HEATING. STOVE SUPPLIES HOT WATER AND HEATING INTO RADIARTORS AROUND THE HOUSE. TO KEEP HOUSE WARM OUR VISITORS WOULD HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF TURF/WOOD BRINGING INTO THE HOUSE TO KEEP HEATING ON FOR THEIR USE. STOVE - ASH CLEANING.
Pets- We have two friendly dogs. Dogs live outside. Toilet duties/ washing/ grooming/ bed cleaning/cooking- not requierd. They are very easy going, playful and mainly need company- human interaction. Ted - German Shepard 2 year old, big, strong dog, not aggresive - however guard dog- barks at strangers. Questa is a rescue 6 years old Staffy( Bull Terrier) female. She is small for her breed, but very strong, no guard dog at all, full of energy and always happy....
Duties - feeding, give some water, daily interaction and play. Dogs do not have to be walked, as they got plently of space to run around. However we do walk them once or twice a week, so would be a bonus.
We work full time so dogs are used to stay in the garden for 8 hours a day, possibly more. They get on together great, and enjoy each other company.
Note about the breed :
They are big dogs and can be jumpy- not suitable for children or not experience vistiors with big dogs.
They are not used to cats, or other animals. They are trained to sit, go out, come when called, they never fight over food, they trained to walk on the lead but need strong hand in case will meet other dogs.
If allowed they will get on the sofa cuddle and act like a cats :) They love petting and rub in the belly, bacon and sleep by the fire. + More info
