Modern house in Wexford Town with 2 friendly dogs
Relax in a comfortable modern house in a double room with own bathroom in a quiet house. Just 1.3km walk from town centre where you'll find plenty of shops, bars, restaurants, art galleries, art centre and opera house. Harry and Bo, my 2 cocker spaniel / jack russell crosses are great company and only ask for food walkies and cuddles.
Our Home & Location
This area has the advantage of being a mature and quiet neighbourhood but within 10-15 minute stroll from the town centre and all it has to offer. A charming streetscape with many excellent restaurants, pubs, cafes, shops, boutiques, art galleries, opera house, art centre ...
The train station and main bus stop is a flat 1.3km walk/drive along the river. Wexford town is also only 15 minute drive from ferry at Rosslare Harbour with crossings from there to the UK and France....
In the opposite direction from the house after a pleasant 2km stroll following the river you will find the picturesque Ferrycarrig area and the National Heritage Centre which is an excellent day out.
If you are driving Wexford has many lovely beaches like Curracloe, Ballinesker, Rosslare Strand to choose from, all within about 20 minutes drive. Eden Vale, a beautiful old wooded vale complete with a stream and waterfalls is another option option less than 10 minutes drive away.
My home is modern and very cosy. There's a double room next to the main bathroom for guests, a chilled out sitting room with a stove that's perfect in the winter, and a kitchen equipped with all that you'd expect. There's also a back garden, although over winter months it doesn't get much use.
Whilst there is good wifi in the house, there is no TV set anywhere in the house. There is however a projector but if you'd like to use it I'd advise bringing a laptop or similar. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
Harry and Bo like their walks, ideally out in the woods or on the beach but they love their walks around town too. They are fed twice a day and are used to being outdoors during the day where they have a kennel to get into should the weather turn. They are young and sociable so the only other thing they need is cuddles :-)
