My German Shepherd and little cat in the beautiful village of Eyeries, West Cork need a great sitter!

Introduction
I am in need of an experienced pet sitter to look after my German Shepherd Amber and my cat Puddie. Amber is a beautiful and affectionate dog, pretty well-trained and very lively and strong. I need someone who is confident and comfortable with large dogs.
My cat Puddie will be easy to look after - he is very independent and a dear little chap.

Eyeries is one of the most beautiful villages in Ireland (see www.eyeries.ie). It is famous for its brightly coloured houses - including mine! - and it's wonderful location on the Beara Peninsula surrounded by mountains overlooking Coulagh Bay. The Beara Peninsula boasts magnificent mountain and coastal scenery, great archaeological sites and the only cable car in Ireland going across to Dursey Island.
Eyeries is 6 km north of Castletownbere, a major fishing town. There are 2 great bars in Eyeries, 2 cafés (one is summer only), a restaurant (Thursday to Sunday) , shops, petrol pumps, Post Office, church and sensory garden. Castletownbere boasts the 2016 Pub of the Year - the wonderful MacCarthy's Bar....
The local community is very friendly and you will be welcomed into the fold while you are staying in my house - Eyeries is a very special place! Santa visits at Christmas on a motorbike!
Yes it can rain here a lot in the winter but Ireland wouldn't be Ireland if it didn't! The weather can still be beautiful at this time of year - bright and breezy with spectacular seas. Temperatures rarely get below freezing and it rarely snows.
My house is very cozy and comfortable and has an amazing view across Coulagh Bay to the Ring of Kerry. The sunsets are really beautiful. I have a front garden that you can sit in and enjoy the beautiful sunsets and a rear garden to play with Amber in.
The guest bedroom is large and comfortable and you have the use of a shower room and a bathroom with a bath.
The living room has a stove, television and DVD and the kitchen has washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, cooker, hob and microwave.

Responsibilities & Pets
I require someone to feed, walk and love my animals! It is essential that you have your own transport with enough room to safely contain a large German Shepherd. I'll need you to regular sweep and hoover the house because Amber sheds all the time and generally to keep the house as tidy and clean as I leave it for you.
It is important that Amber has regular, daily exercise so you must be happy to take her out in winter weather!...
In the summer, the other important things that need looking after are my plants - they make my house look so bright and cheerful and as most of them are in pots, they need regular watering.
