Mexico City (Polanco) Plant Care. Spacious and Sunny apartment. Lots of light, lots of plants :)
Hello! My name is Molly and I am looking for a house/plant sitter over the Christmas/New Years holiday.
We have a lovable 14 year old dog and about 30 house-plants in need lots of love an attention while we are away. There is a good chance our pup will be traveling with us, meaning you would only be responsible for the plants while we are away.
My husband and I have a beautiful, sunny and plant-filled apartment right above Metro Polanco in Mexico City. We are close to the park, the supermarket and lots of shops and restaurants....
Having a green thumb is a must, as our greenery helps keep us sane in this massive city!
We are a bit nervous about having a "stranger" in our home and are looking for someone with strong references and excellent communication skills. We would also love to have someone who can meet or skype with us before hand and arrive to the city the day before our departure or early the morning of so we can give you the keys in person. + More info
Our Home & Location
We live by the Metro Polanco. Close to the supermarket, liquor stores, pharmacies and all your basic needs. Also close to Chapultepec Park, shopping and restaurants.
Responsibilities & Pets
Weight: 22 lbs. (10 kg)
Breed/Raza: Beagle/Terrier mix

Microchip #: 107381571
Misc.: Missing a toe-nail on her back left foot, Snores, sheds a lot, loves to eat and hates getting her nails trimmed....
*Times are flexible so I have suggested a general time frame in which she should be fed and let out.
She drinks a lot of water so please keep an eye on her bowl (on the floor by the stereo/dog food cabinet). Purified (boiled) water is in on top of the fridge
Dog food is in the cabinet next to her bowls. Extra food is in a large blue bag between the washer and the dryer. She will eat herself to death (think Guppies) if left to her own devices so please make sure food is put away (and watch her when walking!)
6:30-8:30 am: she gets 2 scoops of dog food
5:30-7:00 pm: 2 scoops of food,
She needs to pee about 4 x a day (because she is an old lady) and will poop 2-3 times.
6:30-8:30: needs to go out for a pee and poop before breakfast
11:30-2:30: out for a pee and poop (can have a biscuit when you get back)
5:30-7:00 out for a pee and poop before dinner
9:30-10:30: last pit stop pee before bed (gets a biscuit)
Her leash and collar are located in the top drawer under Bose sound system
Doggie bags are there too and next to the trashcan in the kitchen)
She really only needs one “walk” a day for about 30 minutes or so (I think she maxes out at an hour or 2 miles). The rest of the trips out are really just pit stops.

Herbs (except rosemary and lavender)- Water to the brim of each pot EVERYDAY.
3 times a week- Two full pints of water
Living room, Office and Outside plants (not herbs):
