Relaxing stay with two lovely cats in beautiful Mexico!
Hi! I'm Mickey, originally from the US. I'm currently serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Queretaro and have been here for about 2.5 years. I work in the Peace Corps Mexico offices now and for that reason travel more than I used to and need someone to take care of my two cats, Frida and Dali, who I acquired in my first two years of service in the state of Tlaxcala.
I speak Spanish and English fluently and love embroidery, reading and running.
Our Home & Location
Queretaro is a beautiful, growing city and I am so happy to be living in the heart of it! I'm about a 20 minute walk from the Historic Center and also about a 20 minute walk to the Walmart, mall, Costco, big shopping area. I live in a very quiet, relaxed residential area of town and there are convenience stores, restaurants, and coffee shops within a few minutes walking.
The house is unique. There are 4 doors that all open to the outside where 4 different "apartments" are. I live in one with complete privacy. The other 3 apartments are all single women. I have a kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom, all basic but very nice. There's a small patio out back to hang laundry or sit out on a nice day.
Responsibilities & Pets
There isn't a lot of responsibility involved beyond taking care of my two cats. They are very chill cats but are still young and need some attention being played with and cuddled. They are 100% indoor cats so they have their litter box that needs to be cleaned frequently and of course their food and water. The trash also would need to be taken out. A lot of upkeep in the house is not necessarily beyond basic cleaning, as I don't have a garden.
