Cat people needed for central Wellington sit 24 December 2018 - 1 February 2019
I am a single professional woman who lives in Wellington. I have just finished building a new house which overlooks Wellington. I have had pets all my life and believe they become your family...they only live with us a short time. All three are well adjusted and love human company, cuddles, pats and push each other out the way when they are being brushed.
Our Home & Location
I live in a newly built 3 bedroom house in the central suburb of Northland in Wellington, New Zealand. I have tremendous views, am surrounded by native bush and an abundance of birdlife.
It is five minutes by car to the centre of the city and you can walk there in about 20 minutes. It gets sun most of the day and is quiet. There is not garden - so to speak - that comes later but there are pots plants to water....
The house is 3 bed, 2.5 bathrooms, kitchen, dining, family and living room. There is also an office and garage. I am working to get my car into the garage...taking longer than I thought so whoever comes will be able to park their car outside the house. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
The cats need to be feed once a day - in the morning with wet food. Biscuits left if a bowl so they can graze.
Ollie has just been diagnosed with a sort of cancer which we are treating with medication which he is responding to well and now putting on weight. This means he needs to have a tablet once every two days and 1ml of a liquid every day. He has turned into a fussy eater and forgets the food or thinks he is full. You would need to show it to him again....
Unfortunately he is also toileting both in the litter box, outside and inside sometimes. I have reverted to using puppy training pads in the area inside. You would need to change these should he go. Sometimes he doesn't other day he does. Must be down to do with how he feels with his meds.
The other two are hail and hearty. All are love attention. Ollie is a lap sitter, Maro a head buter to get attention and pats and Pixie is the talker for attention. Pixie and Ollie are brother and sister. + More info
