Energetic Duo: Dalmatian & Choc Labrador in Singapore!
We are international teachers at United World College SEAsia who take their holidays around the region. Whilst we have tried our dogs in kennels, they are people dogs who much prefer company and their own surroundings =) We are looking for someone to stay over the holiday periods to keep Pablo and Blake entertained and feeling loved (he's a rescue dog and deaf - a special boy, she's a puppy who was also re-homed to us from a family who couldn't give her the time she needs).
We have a beautiful, spacious apartment located in extensive school grounds with a range of facilities (https://youtu.be/_aJun_-qTqo) - we live in the boarding house on site. More information can be given about this upon request but it does not interfere with daily life, especially in the quiet period of the holidays with very few young people remaining at school over the holidays....
He is an energetic boy who loves human company - he will demand attention if it's not offered! She is the friendliest, sweetest little thing BUT has a mischievous streak and is too smart for her own good! They are both young dogs (Pablo 4 and Blake 2), full of energy - for this reason we prefer interest from couples or a small family with older children. Since Blake arrived he has become more protective and grumpy with other dogs - when with a firm and confident handler, he is completely manageable and fine. However, he is not a dog to care for if unexperienced or nervous around dominant dogs.
For those keen, Pablo can and will run distances of up to around 10km. Otherwise long walks and a romp in the dog runs near to our house are perfect. Blake is now jogging shorter distances and really enjoys retrieving tennis balls and objects in exercise intervals. + More info

Responsibilities & Pets
They need regular toilet breaks throughout the day and at least one good, long walk of 45min or more - otherwise they are full of energy. They need feeding in the morning and evening, perhaps a shower when smelly or muddy but generally very little grooming. He sheds hair in the heat so sweeping up for your own convenience will probably be required! Easy handling of this is to give him a daily rub/pat down outdoors during a walk or toilet break.
We leave the door to the outside utility open for them where their water bowls are located and Pablo has free access to the main living area when alone. Blake is much better than when still a puppy (adopted, no training!) so she is fine out in the apartment too for short periods. However, we crate her when out of the house for longer periods and thus do not leave the dogs alone for hugely long periods i.e. +6hrs...
Both dogs are trained to toilet outdoors. Generally Blake is good with her toileting habits but can still pee in the house if she is overexcited or is feeling lazy - every 4 hours or so a pee break downstairs is a good idea.
We also have plants and herbs on the terrace which need daily watering. + More info
