A few weeks with Sir Raffles and Lady Hooper

Introduction
I’m Mike and heading away for for a few weeks for work. I’ve lived in Singapore as a wine importer for 9 years and I’m lucky to live in a traditional black and white terrace home in the center of Singapore with two awesome dogs. Raffles is a 9-year-old golden retriever male whom I’ve had since he was a pup. Probably the most laid back, chilled (and not forgetting impossibly handsome) dude I’ve ever had the pleasure to spend my time with. Hooper is a 3-year-old black lab cross rescue dog. They are a good team together and quite the comedy double act. They are really great together and super company for each other and for me.
Our Home & Location
Home for me a is traditional old colonial black and white 2 bed terrace house. I live on a super square with friendly neighbours, lots of dogs and a dog friendly park on my door step. My home is full of black and white charm. Kitchen has a 5 ring hob and oven, microwave and the basics you may need. I have a good sized back yard which is covered and this is where we spend most of our time. I am based in a super central location with a bus stop on my door step and an MRT station a short walk away. I also have one of Singapore’s finest food centres a 2 min walk away so breakfast, lunch and dinner is never too far away and a great way to experience the best local cuisine at super cheap prices. You can walk to the famous Orchard Road in about 10 mins. There are a huge amount of activities in Singapore to keep you entertained. From trekking round MacRitchie Reservoir, Gardens by the Bay, Universal Studios down on Sentosa beach and of course – shopping! You will not have any problems filling your time in Singapore! New Year also sees one of the best fireworks displays down on Marina Bay, worth checking out.
Responsibilities & Pets
Take Raffles and Hooper out for 2 short walks a day – longer if you like, they’ll go anywhere.
Feed them twice and day and give them look after them. They are very low maintenance.
Keep the house tidy. I do have a maid who will come in for the last 1 or 2 days of the visit to help tidy up for my arrival home.
