Farm stay in the Drakensberg
Andrew (South African) and Conny (german) have been living here on the farm for the past 18 years. We really enjoy living here, but we also enjoy traveling and this is why we looking for a house and pet sitter. We do have a small guesthouse on our farm and some more animals like chicken, sheep, horses, cows and they all looked after by our staff. The website www.antbear.co.za shows what you can do in the area.
Our Home & Location
We do live on a small Holding farm between Estcourt and Mooi River in South Africa, Kwazulu Natal with a view to the Drakensberg Mountain. The nearest town is about 25 km away and it is a bit remote.
Responsibilities & Pets
We need the sitter to be at home in the evening. Our dog Lucy sleeps in the house and Lucy does not like to be alone in the evening. Lucy is 11 years old, but she still likes to go for shorter walks. Feeding is needed once a day of the one dog and the two cats. The cats Emma and Oscar come and go, but like company and sleep at home. We do have a small vegetable garden, which needs some watering and weeding.
