Hello, my name is Mina! My mom adopted me in September of 2018. We live in an apartment just south of Seoul. We have a good amount of space and it is close by the subway so we can get to the city for adventures quite quickly. (I actually have a super cool pop up crate so I can ride the subway and it is easy for my mom to carry!) Our apartment also has a dog park in the complex where we go to play. I’m not too familiar with other animals yet so this gives me a chance to run and occasionally be close to other dogs while having a fence for space. I love to chase balls and chew on sticks there, but my mom keeps a close eye on me since I sometimes find old food or mushrooms that can make me sick. At home I love my rope toys and a squeaky pig. I loooove people! If I’m not on a walk, the park or playing with my toys at home; I like to watch the happenings of the complex from my window or sleep on the couch. Speaking of sleeping, at night I sleep with my mom, however there is another bedroom with a bed I can sleep on or the couch too. When it comes to food, my mom makes my food so it is normally kept in the freezer or the refrigerator, I am fed once in the morning and once in the evening. During the day though I also have treats sometimes when I do things that Mom asks.
My mom reeeeaaally likes to travel, and since I can’t always go, I get to meet new wonderful people! Are you a new person I can meet for my moms upcoming trip?!
Our Home & Location
We live in a 2 bedroom apartment in Gunpo-shi (Anyang), about a 5-10 minute walk from Dangjeong station on Line 1 (dark blue line). In the complex there is a grocery store, a convenience store, children's parks and a dog park. Within a 5 minute walk there are restaurants, buses, stores, nature walks, and the subway. There is also a nearby mountain for a nice hike. It takes about 30 mins-1hour to get to Seoul (depending on where you are going).
Responsibilities & Pets
Mina is very easy going. She loves cuddling on the couch, watching the happenings below our building, playing with rope toys or going out for walks. In the morning she has a cup of food and the same in the evening. As mentioned in the intro, I make the food (crockpot) so her food is kept in baggies in the freezer/fridge. We go out on walks in the morning and in the evening. Sometimes in the middle of the day (weather and activity dependent). I typically take her to the park as often as possible to let her run and sniff about. She is not completely socialized so we haven't been going to the big dog park area near the station. She loves people, and gets excited when they want to pet her. As far as the house goes, nothing needs to be done :)
