Looking after 2 Pointers in the Chilterns
Hi, I'm Nick, I live in a small village called Piddington in the Chilterns, near High Wycombe. I have 2 Pointers, Jess, who is 14, and is mother to Sam, who is 12. I work from home as a marketing consultant, specialising in new product development and market research in the UK holidays and pet insurance markets. I have 3 sons of 27, 25 and 20. The youngest is at university and lives with me in the vacations.
I have had friends act as pet sitters a number of times over the last few years.
Our Home & Location
My house is a modern, 3 bedroom, semi-detached house with off-road parking on the drive and a small back garden. The village is quiet with beautiful countryside around, including great dog walks. Jctn 5 (towards Oxford) of the M40 is 5 minutes drive and Jctn 4 (towards London) is 10 minutes. High Wycombe is 10 mins too.
The house is spacious with a comfortable sitting room and large through dining room and kitchen. The guest bedroom has a king size double or 2 single beds. The guest bathroom has a bath with shower over.
Responsibilities & Pets
Jess and Sam are old, quiet, well behaved dogs with very placid natures.
They enjoy a walk in the morning (for up to an hour) and evening (up to half an hour) along the footpaths and bridleways that surround the village....
They sleep downstairs next to the back door. They eat complete food, with a little turkey mince added, and are fed twice a day. Jess has Propalin syrup (orally) at both mealtimes to maintain her bladder strength. + More info
