Dog sitting within walking distance of the world heritage city of Bath
Hi there. We are a recently retired couple, previously in education. We moved back to the city in 2017. We have a pet cockapoo called Rascal. She is extremely friendly, lively, intelligent and definitely a personality. She is very strong and she needs a firm hand on walks. She is quiet in the house but exciteable with visitors and has no road sense whatsoever. We wouldn’t encourage a sitter to let her off the lead, as she rolls, but she is an amusing dog. Seven years old.
Our Home & Location
We live within a twenty five minute flat walk of Bath, partly through Royal Victoria Park. Bath is a beautiful world heritage city. This is a sixties semi with plenty of space. We are tidy and well organised. There is a small back garden for sitting in, with French doors for access. Bristol is accessible by car. Bath is a tourist city with all that it offers. The house has parking and there is a bus stop within two minutes of the house. Buses take you into Bath or Bristol. Local shops within ten minutes, doctors two minutes.
Responsibilities & Pets
Our dog needs two short and one longer walk each day. She is fed in the morning and at tea-time. She will need to be played with a bit. The short walks are round the block and the longer walk needs to be just that, preferably with some green. She sleeps on a dog cushion in the bedroom in the corner and makes no sound in the night. She is never allowed on beds. She cannot be left for more than four hours.
