Lower Leaze in beautiful Wiltshire, rural with 3 lovely dogs
Paul and I are young retirees living in rural Wiltshire near Castle Combe. We have a boat so are often away for short trips but wish to leave our wonderful 3 well behaved dogs. We have a very comfortable medium sized, easy house and nice garden. We are close to Bath and superb cotswold villages.
Our Home & Location
We are 8 miles from Chippenham main line station to London. We are 10 miles from Bath and half an hour from Bristol. Also just 3 miles from J18 of M4. We are 9 mins walk to our local pub and 5 mins walk to a post office. There are numerous walks nearby to the beautiful Bybrook river and Castle Combe. We have loads of events on near here, gardens open, concerts or festivals. Never a dull moment so a great place for a holiday as well as caring for the pets who are very self sufficient. A double room ensuite is available for sitters and the house has all mod cons and sky TV and good internet.
Responsibilities & Pets
Dogs stay in at night, so walk out first thing in morning and feed, and another walk 4-5 pm and feed. We have 2 lab bitches, black mother and yellow daughter and an elderly Jack Russell. All are well trained and the labs are trained gun dogs and respond to whistle. Dogs can be put in dog pen if you go out for day. Watering of garden would be required in summer. We also have 2 horses which would be out in field but could discuss possible care in extreme weather. We have fields immediately adjacent and endless footpaths. Dogs are used to being on leads and will not run away in an open field.
