Gentle cat seeking kind human
Hello and thank you for viewing this post.
We are looking for a cat sitter to look after our beloved Minnie for 8 days, from 7 - 14 September inclusive....
She is a timid little creature but is always gentle and has never scratched us once in three years. She is an RSPCA rescue cat who has been with us since a fateful winter three years ago when she came into our home and we couldn't imagine life without her.
Minnie loves scratches, empty boxes, staring out of windows and eating Dreamies. Minnie hates being picked up, the sound of the doorbell and most of all she hates other cats. + More info
Our Home & Location
The nearest train station is Chadwell Heath (TfL Rail / Elizabeth line), the nearest tube station is Becontree (District line). There are numerous buses all around the neighbouring roads and transport is pretty easy. If you have a car, this property also comes with an adjacent parking space for you to use for the duration of the stay.
The property itself is a terraced house with lots of energy-saving features. It's well-insulated so you won't need to worry about being cold now that the heatwave is over. Both sets of our neighbours are lovely and friendly. We live in a quiet road which is very peaceful and the windows are all double-glazed which makes for a good night's sleep. There are two double bedrooms, one main bathroom, a downstairs loo and even a garden. We aren't gardeners though so it's quite a simple patio and grass setup....
We're a married couple, both of us are London born and bred thirtysomethings who love to explore new places when the opportunity arises. Please note that both of us are animal lovers and this includes ALL animals, not just cats and dogs. We don't eat animals and would ideally love to find a vegan or vegetarian sitter for our cat. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
Minnie needs her food bowl to be topped up twice a day and her water bowl to be changed twice a day. We both go to work during the day so she is used to that, but she loves to have a run around in the garden, both in the mornings and in the evenings. Opening the garden door to let her out and then opening it to let her in again will be a common occurrence.
Other than that, she is a very low maintenance pet. She doesn't bite or scratch, but is a nervous and shy cat who takes her time in trusting someone.
