Sitter required for 2 dogs and a pond full of fish
We are Richard and Tracy, and along with our adult children are off for a (probably) last full family holiday. Richard is a mechanic who works on classic racing vehicles and Tracy works in a contact centre for the Police. Our children are Natalie and William, Natalie works for a local animal charity (and no longer lives at home) and William is an IT tech.
Our Home & Location
Our home is a comfy 3 bed semi in a large, quiet village just outside Bedford. There are a couple of pubs, corner shops, fish and chip shop, pharmacy and a petrol station in the village. We have good wifi and plenty of options on the TV if that is your thing, but lots of easily accessible outdoor space if you prefer that. There is a large collection of CD's ( and vinyl) if you are a music fan or a 'shedio' full of craft equipment if that is more interesting to you. Bedford has a range of shops in the town centre but Milton Keynes and Luton are both easily accessible for any serious shopping requirements! Lots of choice for supermarkets locally.
Responsibilities & Pets
The dogs will require walking. They normally only go out once a day but would be happy to walk as much as you like. They are used to being left on their own for several hours at a time as everyone in the house goes out to work. The dogs get along very well, although Pepper maintains some guarding issues over food, stemming from the fact they are rescue dogs we believe. They are fed twice a day, as are the fish in the pond. The pond has a filtration system which will need to be monitored, but rarely malfunctions.
