Dog and house sit with walks.
I'm Yvonne, I live with my civil partner Liz and Lola our much loved dog. I enjoy walking Lola each morning and on the way back home Liz, Lola and I meet for coffee. We enjoy eating out, cinema, shopping and especially touring in Britain with our caravan when the three of us enjoy visiting new places . Lola particularly likes the beaches. But in the winter we like to have short breaks and also travel to find some winter sun. Lola loves people and enjoys a stroke and a cuddle. She’s a great companion and friend.
Our Home & Location
Our house is in a Victorian Terrace in south Birmingham suburbs. We have a small garden out back which is visited by squirrels. Lola loves to race down the garden after them, so far it’s Lola nil squirrels ten!
There is a well equipped kitchen, with gas oven, electric ceramic hob, coffee maker, toaster and kenwood chef if you feel like baking! There are two lovely, comfortable reclining chairs, a tv with a Samsung sound bar, a blue ray DVD player and radio/cd player. The double bed has a massager and adjustable positioning. We don’t have a bath but there is a spacious shower with unlimited hot water....
There is easy access to a very good bus service which goes into the city and leaves every 4 minutes. There are many local shops and some very nice cafes which accept dogs all at the end of our road. Of course there is great shopping in Birmingham Bull Ring. Solihull Touchwood Centre is also a short bus ride away.
We have lovely neighbours who would always help if necessary.
We are a no smoking household. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
Lola is our beautiful 4year old lurcher. She’s lovable, fun and terrific company. She’s totally reliable with people and has never shown any aggression either with adults or children. I walk her every morning, usually for 3 or 4 miles but she could manage with a couple of miles. She must always be walked on her lead, best in the morning and maybe a short walk in the afternoon. She is fed twice daily, between 7 and 8:30 in the morning and 18:00 in the evening. Lola usually walks well on her lead but she will bark and pull if she sees a cat or squirrel so you need to be holding on tight!
She will be your best friend if you give her lots of love....
Lola can be left for short periods but we don’t leave her for longer than 3hrs.
It will be good to know someone is looking after the house and keeping it secure + More info
