Dog sitter required for 2 Weimeraners in the Borders
My partner and I are now both retired and love village life and long walks with our dogs. We like weekends away and a few holidays too but need to know our dogs are feeling loved and settled in familiar environment. We would need someone who understands the sensitivities of our dogs diets and is prepared to take them for good walks every day.
Our Home & Location
Our home is a 3 bedroom bungalow at the end of a 'no through' village, so it's extremely quiet and suitable for all ages. There are many local walks, especially by the Tweed and every day there's something different to see, even if you follow the same route. The local Chainbridge Honey Farm has a great Bus Cafe with outside seating, ideal for a mid-walk coffee break with irresistible homemade cakes. Walk across The Chainbridge itself and you walk into Scotland!
The village has a good pub, very friendly and welcoming. There is also a great range of restaurants within the area, covering a variety of tastes and budgets....
Berwick is only a few miles away and as well as having all the main shops of a small town, it is a place of strong historical interest and well worth exploring. There's also a golf course, swimming pool and a small theatre/cinema.
5 - 10 mins in the car brings you to amazing stretches of sandy beach, ideal for dogs and beachcombers! + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
The health and well being of our two dogs is paramount, so following their routine is a necessity. No other responsibilities required.
