Wanted a kind and caring sitter who will take care of our very precious pets.
My name is Judy and I am looking for someone to look after our home and take care of our 3 dogs and cat when we go away for the weekend in June 2019 for a special family celebration.
It is important for us to know our beloved pets and home are in good hands. The dogs have never been in kennels and as our two girls are getting older the best place they can be is at home with as little disruption to their lives as possible. Knowing that they are safe and happy is our priority.
Our Home & Location
Our home is a modern well equipped and maintained three bed semi detached house on a small quiet estate about 2 miles from Bristol city centre.
There are 3 bedrooms the master bedroom with en-suite shower room and super king sized bed. Bedroom two has a sofa bed and doubles as a second sitting room/office....
With a high speed cable internet connection and wi-fi the house would suit someone who works from home and requires good access to the internet.
The kitchen has recently been refitted and has all the quality essentials needed. There is a small garden with lawn, decking and patio area ideal for warm summer days.
Nearby we have access to parks, woodland and river side walks to explore and enjoy.
The area is well served by the main supermarkets and there are a good selection of independent shops including a bakery and delicatessen all within walking distance. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
We are looking for someone
with experience and a love of animals to take care of our 3 dogs and cat.
Our two girls are toy breeds and are very small. Although small in size they have huge personalities and are a very big part of our lives. They love company and as my husband is now retired they are used to someone being around but are happy on their own when necessary. Our girls are getting older and with little legs they do not need much walking. But they do need to go out everyday....
Lola our lovely tiny Maltese has epilepsy and her partial seizures can be triggered by stressful situations. She could not cope with being being in kennels. For anyone who does not have experience of seizures this could sound quite daunting but Lola copes well and just needs reassurance and a cuddle to help her get through them and recover quickly.
Our latest addition to the family is Blue he is a Cavapoochon who will be 18 months old when we go away. Blue unlike the girls will need a good walk on his own and time to play to help him continue with with his training and socialisation.
The remaining member of the family is Frodo our 16 year old ginger cat. A calm friendly old boy who just needs company. He is basically a house cat who likes the garden. He never strays too far from the house and toilets in garden but we do keep a litter tray for him for emergencies. He rarely uses it but it will need cleaning if he does. The dogs have access to the garden through the cat flap and can come and go as they please!
If possible we would like someone local to us so we can meet and build a good and mutually beneficial relationship. We have never had a sitter before and we need to get this right. If you can help us then we would love to hear from you. + More info
