Dog & house sitter needed in beautiful Bristol
We are looking for someone over Christmas and New Year into mid January to look after our two quirky and lovable dogs, one big and one small, in a lovely cosy home with a large garden and a big pond looking for company, walks and cuddles.
We also have a shorter house sit for 1 week with only Zuuk to look after in November.
*Please note, these dates are the ideal dates needed, however we can be slightly flexible if if it is more convenient to extend or reduce the time for a house sit within this approximate time scale.
Our Home & Location
Our home is a 1930's, 2 bedroomed, end of terrace house in South Bristol with a lovely garden and big pond. A park right next door begins a 25 minute stroll to Bristol's harbourside with it's waterfront cafes and bars, art galleries, museums and cinemas.
There is a large living/dining room with polished wooden floors, two comfy sofas, a wood burning stove and big dining table. Wifi throughout the house and an internet enabled TV with Amazon Prime and Netflix etc....
There are two good sized double bedrooms upstairs and a beautiful Edwardian bathroom with a roll top bath and shower.
Supermarkets, high street shopping, restaurants and pubs are close by. Beautiful countryside and beaches are a short drive away. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
We need someone, or a couple, to come and live in our home in Bristol to look after our two dogs, a nutty Jack Russell, Izzy and Zuuk a chilled out Tamaskan (Husky cross).
The dogs need to be fed twice a day and to be exercised. While they are happy enough running about in the garden most of the time, long walks would be welcome. There are parks just next door and up the hill for a quick run around and nice places for longer walks nearby....
Both dogs are very cuddly and good natured. Izzy is an eccentric but calm and intelligent rescue dog and Zuuk is big, soppy and occasionally excitable. Both can pull on the lead if they see something fun to chase but otherwise they are easy to manage.
They are both fine to be left at home during the day up to 8 hours as long as they have been out in the morning and have some fuss in the evening. + More info
