Help needed in Berkshire
Hi, we are Linda and Jules and we live in beautiful Bucklebury which is 6 miles from Newbury, a lovely market town, in West Betkshire. Bucklebury parish is the largest village parish in the UK and is the village that The Duchess of Cambridge’s (Future queen) patents still live in. We live right on the edge (50m down our track) of Bucklebury Commin which has miles and miles of foot paths
We are looking for someone friendly, caring and reliable to come and look after our 2 gorgeous labradors, Betty (7 years) and Nelly (3 years) and our fickle cat Ace (8 years) whilst we go skiing for a week in February....
Nelly our youngest lab is a bit hyper and has boundless energy. Betty is a very strong lab and both are extremely affectionate, Nelly a little too affectionate! Both are extremely friendly and just love to be loved. + More info
Our Home & Location
Our house is a detached property with an enclosed drive and garden. Just 6 miles from Newbury and 12 miles from Reading. We are only 10 minutes from the M4 and have a train station just 5 minutes away that can take you to London in 45 minutes. In the village there is a great pub and shop. In the closest town Thatcham there is a Waitrose and various other shops, pubs and restaurants.
Responsibilities & Pets
The only responsibilities we are asking our chosen sitter to undertake are caring for the pets, keeping the house tidy and putting the bin out! That’s pretty much it!
