3 legged David Meowie needs company
Hi! My name is Josie and I live in a little flat with my 3 legged house cat David Meowie. He was in a serious accident in June and is still recovering and needs extra company. My boyfriend, Carlo lives in Verona, Italy and until he moves over to live with us in December we are both travelling every 2-3 weeks between the countries. Due to this we are always on the search for sitters for David.
We lead a simple life of morning yoga and evening films. I’m a weegan (weak vegan but strick vegetarian) David not but will attempt to eat any of my food....
Ideally we would like a single woman to take my place as David is used to women more but he’d be fine meeting couples. + More info
Our Home & Location
I am from the area and have always lived in Cambridge. It’s is an incredibly beautiful and historic town. Famous for its Universities and a short train journey to London.
My home is a one bedroom top floor flat. It is not over looked and all windows have trees in front of them which is very lovely. The block of flats is a mixture of people. Lots of young children so you’ll here the school rush but other then that’s it’s incredibly quiet for such a residential area....
There is a bus stop right outside the block of flats which takes you into the town centre in about 15 minutes. Personally we prefer to cycle or walk. I have 2/3 bicycles available for use in a garage in the block. We normally cycle to the river for picnics or a pub lunch on my days off. If you are new to the area I can recommend places. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
David Meowie is a 2 year old house cat with 3 legs so needs much more attention and company then most other cats. His breed is a british short hair silver tabby and is hypoallergenic.
David had a major accident in June and from that has lost his left front leg. This has not stopped his curious and playful nature ansd will be wherever you are. He is not a lap cat but he will want to be in the same room as you....
At night he will fall asleep on my chest for 30 minutes before getting comfy in his bed. He tends to sleep through the night.
He LOVES water. Turn the tap on and he will splash about for hours. + More info
