Making new friends
Hi everybody! I’ve heard only good things about this page so I thought I’d give it a try :)
My name is Cesar and my wife’s name is Ewelina, I’m originally from Chile and she is from Poland but we’ve lived in the UK for over 15 years, we have a little dog called Frankie, he is a 3 year old cockapoo and he’s my wife’s baby....
Frankie gets nervous around kids, so unfortunately we can’t take any applicants with children. + More info
Our Home & Location
We live in a fairly quiet town called Godmanchester, in Cambridgeshire. There are shops, pubs and take away food places close by, a big play field behind our house, we are very close to nice walks by the river, nature reserve, and massive fields where Frankie can safely run off lead.
Cambridge city center it’s about 25 minute drive. Ideally you’d have to have a car to sight see if you wish but there’s a bus going directly to Cambridge, it takes about 50 min....
Our house is a 3 bedroom town house with a small garden, with all modern amenities. Tvs, sky Q, Netflix, washing machine, dishwasher, etc. You’d have your own private bedroom with en suit bathroom on the top floor. + More info
Responsibilities & Pets
The main reason of wanting a sitter is to look after Frankie, he is a happy little dog but he really likes company , walks and swimming in the river nearby. We have left him in doggy hotels before but we think having someone at home to keep on eye on him would be much better choice. He is a little nervous when he meets people for the first time but he’ll be your best buddy once he gets to know you.
You just have to give him some space at first. We can arrange for Frankie to go to daycare few times if you would like to be out of the house for sight seeing, like we normally do when we both work all day....
Frankie doesn’t have a routine as such. He’s easy going and adapts well. He’ll need to be taken for a walk at least a couple times a day please as he loves long walks. If it is a rainy day he’ll need drying and he’s paws cleaned as we have carpets throughout the house. Other times he may require his paws cleaned in the bath with the shower head if he’s muddy. For this you’d have to carry him to the bath on the first floor. He’s normally a good boy in the bath. We will ask you to feed him twice a day and change his drinking water also once a day.
Frankie is generally well trained dog as noticed by our last sitters, he’s toilet trained and listens to commands (most of the time). He walks well off leash too.
Frankie doesn’t have any medical conditions.
He normally sleeps in our bedroom on and off our bed so when we are not here he might want to snuggle up with you :)
We’d ask you to keep our house clean and tidy. + More info
