'Two lovely dogs to walk on the beach'
We live in the beautiful town of Frinton-on-Sea on the north east coast of Essex. This part of the 'Tendring Peninsula' has it's own fair-weather climate. Our house is just two minutes from the beach and shops. Frinton beach is renown for its golden sand, promenade walk and no amusements! When we are travelling we need someone to look after our two treasured dogs, Jasper & Hannah. Our house-sitter can be a single person or a couple. Our dogs are very easy to look after so we are happy with either first-time or experienced sitters.
Our Home & Location
Our home is a four bedroomed detached house. there is a lounge with wide-screen 3D TV, a kitchen, and separate dining room with patio doors that open out onto a large rear garden. The house has both a downstairs and upstairs toilet and Wifi. There are tables and chairs for the garden and chairs to use on the beach. Our house lies in the road next to the town's shops, just a two-minute walk away. We are happy to make a car available for your use. We are quite clean and tidy around the house with everything put away at the end of the day. The small tasks for sitters would be watering the plants and shrubs with the attached hose. Frinton has its own railway station and is one hour from London by train or 90 minutes by car. It is 30 minutes to the historic town of Colchester and 40 minutes from the shopping centre of Ipswich. Along the coast are interesting towns such as Walton-on-the-Naze (5 minutes) with excellent walks and the Historic port of Harwich (30 minutes) which has more pubs than shops. Frinton has supermarkets, a pub, many restaurants and a fish 'n chip shop.
Responsibilities & Pets
Both Jasper & Hannah love to run on the beach, dashing in and out of the sea, for around 30 minutes each day. They are on-lead on route to the beach or countryside but will run and play off-lead, returning to their walker on being called and rewarded with a treat. They will lounge with us in the evening and sleep in the utility room from 10pm to 7am. They are happy to be left in their beds for a few hours each day if both of us are out of the home. They are two very easy dogs to look after and Hannah especially responds well to playing games.
