3 doolally but lovely dogs. Humble but happy home
Hello I’m Maggie a part time hairdresser, I live with my partner Jason and 2year old son Jacob. Since rehoming our dobie we have decide that kennels are not the right option and thought that a house sitter would be the best way forward. Are dogs are part of are family and hope to find sitters that are as nuts about dogs as we are!!!
Our Home & Location
We have a humble but happy 3 bedroom terrace house on the edge of Pitsea in Essex. We have been living here for 3 years and over this time have tried to make it as comfortable as we can. There is a lovely green opposite which is brilliant for walking the dogs. We are 3mins by car or 30 min walk from Pitsea station and Pitsea town center which has all the basic shops you need, but we have a great selection of local shops a 2min walk away which also has a fantastic fish & chips shop and a Chinese takeaway. Both Pitsea and Basildon are on the same train line into London fenchurch street station in one direction and to Southend on Sea in the other direction, both make for great days out. We have a bus stop out side our door in both directions which runs regularly into Basildon town center or Basildon station. It also goes to Langdon hills which is a lovely place for a forest walk. We have a drive so parking is never a problem. We are also a 7min drive from a large group of restaurants and cinema.
Responsibilities & Pets
All we ask is for you to feed, water, walk and cuddle our dogs. Both Lucian and Meika are strong on the lead. The dogs do have access to the garden so you can go on day trips out. And they all love a good snuggle.
Meika is the head of our little pack she is quite stubborn but very loving. She likes her own space but give amazing cuddles....
Sherby is our little mixer she is incredibly affectionate and will be your shadow the whole time you are here.
Lucian is our gental giant he is the softest dog I know, his nick name is scooby-do.
Both Meika and Sherby we have had since pup, but our lucian is a rescue and was abused as a puppy so he does get a bit freaked out if he gets trapped in a room.
The dogs are not allowed upstairs so there’s no risk of dog hairs in the bed...
We also feel that having people come and go from the house will help to put our minds at rest knowing our dogs and house are safe and being looked after. + More info
