Rural Cambridgeshire Tudor Home
Hi - My husband, daughter and I - plus Hector the cocker spaniel live in Ickleton. I am a potter, so you’ll see plenty of my work around the house. We are travelling a lot over this year and would hate to leave Hector in a kennel. He likes lots of attention and cuddles, so a house and pet sitter seems like the perfect solution.
Our Home & Location
Our home was built in the 1400s and so is full of beams and plenty of character. There isn’t a straight line in the house! Our village is very friendly and has a pub, Church and shop. We are within easy reach of Saffron Walden which is a beautiful market town (about 10 minutes by car) with plenty of shops, pubs, restaurants etc. Cambridge is about 25 minutes away by car with all its historic sites, punting, theatres, cinemas etc. Although we are in walking distance of a train station and have bus stops in the village, a car is recommended.
Responsibilities & Pets
Hector the cocker spaniel is extremely friendly and excitable. He requires plenty of love and attention and a walk every other day as a minimum. Although he is extremely friendly, he can be boisterous so I would not recommend this house sit if you have children under 5 years old. When you leave the house, we would ask you to set our alarm system. Full instructions will be given.
